The weapon at the center of combat

The Aberrant is Dylan’s otherworldly, shapeshifting melee weapon and the central tool in CONTROL Resonant’s close-range combat system.

Its distinct Primary and Secondary Forms and powerful Combo Enders let you tailor speed, range, and combat role within one build.

Fights require you to read enemy attacks, manage staggers and status effects, and time your dodges while using the Aberrant at close range.

Forms, switching, and upgrades

Which Aberrant forms are named?
The named forms are Hammer, Blades, Scythe, and Fists. Hammer delivers heavy two-handed blows, while Blades provide swift dual-wielded precision, and the weapon can morph on demand between challenges. Other forms also exist but have not been revealed.
Where can I change and test an Aberrant loadout?
The default selection contains six total Primary and Secondary Aberrant forms. Unlock, change, and test their loadout combinations in the Gap, which is accessible by holding down on the Directional buttons.
How can Aberrant forms affect a build?
Primary and Secondary Forms can gain burn or infect status effects, improved cooldowns, and increased Combo Ender damage. A bonus Combat Ability can add a shield, a projectile barrage, or an ally formed from environmental junk.
